Defining True Beauty

One thing for certain
defining true beauty is mankind's burden
But anticipation has no patience or peace,
Waiting only pokes the beast
Man's struggling eyes
struggles to see mankind's caring cries
before men being cease
All the beauty in hope
disappears quickly like a bar of soap
When we keep washing the same dirt and shame
Off comes the scab exposing the pain
Only suspicion and evil eyes remain
Man slides further down the rope
Replacing ancient cries with mistrust
Misery waits at the bottom
with a kiss and an embrace of disgust
Saying welcome home
You have found your place among us
